Our installation process (and why it’s better than the rest)
What is our process? How does it differ from a “factory installer” or big box store?
We are the installation company. We are not a middleman. When you hire a “factory direct”, big box store, or manufacturer to install your windows or doors they often hire separate companies, like ours, to install their products. Oftentimes that process complicates your experience. It seems convenient to walk into a store and have them complete your installation as well as pick out the product. They do have the advantage of being a “one-stop” service. But oftentimes underpaid workers and multiple hands touching your job can cause errors, causing frustrations and delays to your job. These middlemen can drive up costs in some cases multiple times over what they need to be. We hear stories all the time from customers who were given quotes 10-fold of what they should be. (note: if your window company gives you 40 percent off then they were 40 percent too high to start with).
We are the installation company. We are often quite competitive to big box stores on pricing but you get personalized service. You get an experienced installer measuring and dictating the job, not a salesperson. We also review the job before it’s ordered to ensure that there are no errors that could cause delays and frustrations. We will set up a time to come out and measure the project and get you a list of materials and labor for your project. You get transparent pricing (we have nothing to hide behind outrageous markups and sales commissions). You can go to any supplier of your choice and pick out any unit. Even shop around for the best prices. We offer two methods for getting materials currently:
1. You can supply and furnish the materials. You take responsibility for the accuracy of the units and delivery (don’t worry we will still help you review it). You also take responsibility for any delays caused by missing materials. But this option saves a few dollars if you want to trade your time for those.
2. Once you pick out your choice of windows or doors we will purchase the materials for you and arrange their delivery. We take the liability for the order’s accuracy and take the headache out of it. You still get to shop around and pick out whatever brand you like.
Our installation methods have been refined through tens of thousands of units. We have taken the strictest of manufacturing requirements, best practices, and code compliance and whittled them into the methods we use on EVERY product we install. This means that you often get a BETTER installation than if you had hired a manufacturer or big box store. Sometimes at a fraction of the price. You can ensure you have an installation method that is insulated, water-tight (two layers), air tight (no one wants leaky doors or windows), and that the manufacturer would sign their name too. This means trouble-free warranties from the factories, heaven forbid that comes up.
